Rajasthan Royals vs Royal Challengers Bangalore : Preview

After two consecutive losses, Rajasthan Royals will have to regroup themselves before they face mighty Royal Challengers Bangalore. After a win against SRH, RR lost their matches against KXIP and CSK. They have to rethink about their team composition as they lost against Punjab because bowlers could not defend the total and batting failed miserably against CSK’s bowling attack.

Champions of first season RR have batsmen like Brad Hodge and Steven Smith but they have failed to justify. Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny, Watson and Sanju Samson Performed well but lack consistency. In Bowling they have pacers like Dhawal Kulkarni, James Faulkner and Rajat Bhatia who are capable. Kane Richardson took three wickets in two matches but got sick before the third one. RR miss a quality spinner as Pravin Tambe has not been effective like the last season.

RCB started well this season as they were at the top with two wins before an unfortunate close loss against KKR. They do not have to worry much because so far everything is going smooth for them. They have a rock solid batting lineup like Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli who won the match against DD with ease. Parthiv Patel and AB de Villiers won the match against Mumbai. They lost against KKR despite being on winning track till the last over. Their bowling has been good as the pacers Varon Aaron, Mitchell Starc and Albie Morkel and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took wickets at the crunch moments.
